About the turn-key business

  • Our turn-key solution means you get a fully fitted and certified Airstream coffee unit, complete with coffee machine, grinders, water systems, power setup, key equipment, and business setup support — ready to trade from day one.

  • Airstreams are iconic, eye-catching, and built with quality materials that stand up well to NZ conditions. Their retro premium look helps attract customers, while the fit-out maximises workflow efficiency for a small team.

  • Standard inclusions typically cover:

    • Heavy-duty chassis and tow setup

    • Water tanks and pump

    • Certified electrical and lighting

    • Commercial-grade coffee equipment (machine, grinder)

    • Commercial fridge and sink(s)

    • Power points and ventilation

    • Serving hatch, bench space and storage

    *Custom options like additional appliances, signage, and wrap/branding are also available.

Purchasing & Delivery

  • Our standard turn-key units are usually ready in approximately twelve weeks, with options for nationwide delivery.

  • Our airstream package includes the trailer unit, setup with coffee machine and grinder. Additional costs such as alternatie equipment, licence fees, council permits, or event site fees are separate.

  • We can connect you with financing partners to structure payment options if needed.

Certifications, Compliance & Safety

  • Yes. All electrical, gas and water systems are installed to meet NZ safety standards and are ready for council and MPI approval processes.

  • You will need to register as a food business and apply for your mobile trading licence with your local council, as well as a food control plan and MPI registration. These requirements vary by region.

  • Yes. All units are built to be road-legal when paired with an appropriate tow vehicle, with correct registration and WOF as part of the build process.

Business & Coffee Setup

  • Yes. We’ll guide you on coffee machine size, grinder setup, refrigeration needs, and workflow planning based on your target volume and locations.

  • We can share insights and resources, though you will need to work with local councils or event organisers to secure specific trading spots.

  • Insurance isn’t included, but we can recommend types (commercial vehicle, public liability, equipment cover) to protect your business.

Operation & Support

  • We offer a business handover that covers how to use and maintain equipment, operate utilities (water, power), and tips for trading efficiently.

  • Yes. Barista training is supplied as part of the turn-key package, ensuring you’re confident making consistently high-quality coffee using the installed equipment.

  • We provide servicing and spare parts through Coffee Repair Workshop.

Customisation & Upgrades

  • Absolutely. You can choose finishes, equipment upgrades, business branding/wraps, and extra appliances like additional ovens, fridges, or generator setups.

  • Customisation allows you to optimise the unit for your menu, service style, and brand identity, making trading easier and more consistent with customer expectations.
